2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 302, 201, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Prosecution case, in brief, is that on 20.05.2024 at about 7 PM, daughter of the informant went outside for natural call but did not return. Thereafter, when informant went to the house of co-accused Md. Afzal to enquire about her daughter, as they were having love affair, the accused persons abused her and said that they killed her daughter and threw her dead body in the pond. It is further alleged that the accused persons also threatened to kill the informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10996 of 2025(3) dt.29-04-2025 2/3 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he happens to be father of co-accused Md. Afzal with whom, deceased had an affair. He further submits that as a matter of fact, talks of affair between son of petitioner and deceased became public and out of humiliation and scare, she committed suicide. Doctor has not found any external injury on the body of deceased. Apart from this, there is no other material to show that this petitioner assaulted or in any way involved in the murder of deceased. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Benipur, Darbhanga in connection with Alinagar P. S. Case No. 52 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under
