The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R., on 08.10.2021, while the informant was in his house, the F.I.R. named accused persons including this petitioner came at the door of the informant and started abusing him and thereafter, co-accused Madhusudan Gope fired at him, but fortunately, same did not hit informant. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that due to political rivalry, this false case has been lodged. Allegation of firing is against co-accused Madhusudan Gope. No one sustained any injury.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
