JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 17-07-2023 Heard Mr. Jitendra Kumar Rai, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Sumant Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State and Mr. Arun Kumar Arun, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Accountant General.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to file detail representation before the District Magistrate, Rohtas, Sasaram. He will ensure to file zerox copy of his Service Book maintained at his own level to justify the fact that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2956 of 2023 dt.17-07-2023 2/2 pension of the petitioner must be fixed as per the last pay drawn by him.

3. The District Magistrate, Rohtas, Sasaram must ensure sanction of amount for making payment of all the retiral dues including the pension to the petitioner within a period of six weeks. The sanction letter must be issued to the Accountant General, Bihar for fixation of the pension of the petitioner within a further period of three weeks.

4. The Accountant General, Bihar must ensure to fix the pension forthwith and issue PPO in favour of the petitioner so that the retiral dues may be credited in the account of the petitioner by the Treasury Officer, Rohtas, Sasaram within a period of one or two days after receiving of the PPO.

5. The entire exercise must be taken in the manner prescribed in the order.

6. With the above observation and direction the writ petition stands disposed of.
