The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Kajra P.S. Case No.53 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 147, 149, 307, 188, 269, 270, 271 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 3 of Epidemic Act.

The petitioners and other co-accused persons are said to have disobeyed the lock-down and quarreled with another group while playing cricket.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9538 of 2022(2) dt.02-08-2022 2/2 present case. It is further submitted that no specific overt act is alleged against the petitioners. It is submitted that other coaccused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail by the learned court below itself. It is lastly submitted that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.

The learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Lakhisarai in connection with Kajra P.S. Case No.53 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J.) Sanjay/- U T
