JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 03-02-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The name of petitioner came in this case in the statement of co-accused, Chandan Sao @ Chandan Thathera, who was caught on the spot by the police just after the alleged occurrence.

The impugned order shows that the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by the court below on the ground that petitioner was absconding since 27-10-2012 but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that petitioner was not aware about the institution of the present case because after 2006, except the present case as well as Dobhi P.S. Case No. 301 of 2012, no case has been registered against the petitioner.
