2. The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Bela P.S. Case no. 180 of 2024 instituted for the offence under Sections 21 (c) of the Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that from the house of the petitioner 5.3 KG. 'ganja' and 87600 ml intoxicated syrup and Nitravet-10 Tablets (1500 mgs) were recovered from the house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12013 of 2025(2) dt.21-02-2025 2/2 that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case due to dirty local politics. It has further been argued by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the bike does not belong to the petitioner.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the prayer of bail of the petitioner stating that the petitioner has one criminal antecedent of similar nature.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions put forward by the parties, I am not inclined to extend him the privilege of anticipatory bail which is accordingly rejected.
