The petitioner is accused in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 317 of 2016, registered under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 324, 353, 307 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation of informant, namely, Prawej Alam is that on 22.10.2016 informant, being the Assistant Electric Engineer Supply, Sheikhpura, was in his office then at about 11.40 A.M., 20 to 25 persons came in his office and started abusing to him saying that why electric energy is not being supplied in their village. On which informant replied that technician has gone in filed to correct the fault. Thereafter, one

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3174 of 2017 (2) dt.08-02-2017 2/2 Radhey Kumar started abusing and assaulting to him and Sandip Kumar dashed him. At that time, the petitioner tried to unfold his hand in which he sustained injury in his finger. Thereafter, other accused persons also started assaulting him. On hulla, other staff of his office rushed and save him. In the meantime, some of the miscreants tried to loot the cash from the cash counter. Thereafter, Police reached there and apprehended this petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner had gone to the office of the informant for correction of electric bill, but the mob, which created disturbances, succeeded to flee away from the office and this petitioner was apprehended by the Police only on suspicion. The petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 22.10.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura in connection with Sheikhpura P.S.
