The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
Patna High Court CWJC No.2960 of 2023(2) dt.09-10-2023 2/3 "That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or any appropriate writ order or direction commanding upon the respondents to hold inquiry with respect to the defalcation in execution of the work of Nal-Jal Scheme which has not been done according to the approved estimate and is incomplete, the distribution of aid given to the beneficiaries under PMAY Scheme and non-payment of the aid which has been allowed to several girls under Mukhya Mantri Girls Marriage Scheme and further for direction to the respondents to take necessary steps to getting the charge handed over to the petitioner with respect to the works, registers/records of Ward No. 14 and further to take necessary legal action against the erring persons."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
