JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-07-2020 Mr. Rakesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State Bank of India has submitted that the amount of pension, which the petitioner is claiming in the present application, has been deposited in the petitioner's account on 09.07.2020. The Principal Secretary, Finance, Govt. of Bihar has joined the present Virtual Court Proceeding and has informed this Court that either the Department or the concerned Treasury Officer did not have to do anything in respect of payment of pension, which the petitioner is claiming. He has informed this Court that it was for the Bank to ensure that the
Patna High Court CWJC No.14723 of 2018(7) dt.10-07-2020 2/2 amount was credited in the petitioner's account. In view of the submission made on behalf of the Bank. I am of the view that the petitioner's grievance has been completely redressed.
This application is accordingly disposed of.
The State Government, however, shall be at liberty to take up the issue with the State Bank of India, in appropriate manner, in the given circumstance.
