This application is for grant of bail in connection with Benipatti P.S.Case No.119 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 25 (1-B)/26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that only one country-made Pistol has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody for more than seven months. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail, stating that earlier also, the petitioner was accused in few cases.
Having heard both sides. In view of the fact that the petitioner is accused in few cases also, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, the petitioner may
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5516 of 2017 (3) dt.02-03-2017 2/2 renew his prayer for bail in the learned court below, after framing of the charge in this case.
With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
