Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 25 and other allied sections of the Arms Act.

Police arrested one Bidyanand Singh and recovered arms including some half finished country made arms from his bag. He disclosed the name of the petitioner and one another coaccused as his aide in the business of manufacture and sale of arms.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case on the confessional statement of the said co-accused. Nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner to connect him with the instant occurrence.
