This application has been filed for quashing of order dated 07.04.2001 passed by learned Special Judge, vigilance, North Bihar, Muzaffarpur in Spl. Case No. 183A of 2002 arising out of Vigilance Case No. 33 of 1992 by which learned Judge has taken cognizance against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 120B, 420, 467, 468, 147, 477A, 109 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 13(2) read with 13(1)(d), 15 of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988.

The impugned order has been passed on 07.04.2001 and the quashing application has been filed in 2018 after

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54338 of 2018(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 inordinate delay that too without satisfactory explanation of the delay. Accordingly, this application is dismissed on the ground of delay and latches. The petitioner is given liberty to raise all the grounds at the stage of framing of charge. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Harsh/ U T
