2. The wife of the petitioner died in harness on 29.12.2020, while working as cleaner in Municipal Corporation, Munger. Despite her untimely death, when the petitioner has not been accorded the terminal dues, he filed the present writ petition by invoking the jurisdiction of this Court. During the pendency of the writ petition, all the admissible terminal dues have been paid to the petitioner, except the benefits arising out of 5th and 6th Pay Revision.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 3 and 4. Learned Advocate for the Municipal Corporation submitted at the bar that differences of amount of

Patna High Court CWJC No.3058 of 2022 dt.29-07-2024 2/2 payment for the period April, 2017 till the death of the subscriber has been paid for one year to all the concerned employees, including the petitioner; and for due arrears, for the 5th Pay Revision and some remaining due amount for 6th Pay Revision, the respondents are sincerely working out to pay. It is also contended that a bill of one year for difference amount on account of pay revision is prepared and soon it will be paid.

Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the respective parties and taking note of the fact that substantive terminal dues of the petitioner has been paid, this Court deems it fit and proper to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent nos. 3 and 4 to ensure payment of differential amount on account of 5th and 6th Pay Revision along with other admissible dues, if any, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
