Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 366(A), 342, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Karjain P.S.Case No. 78 of 2019.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he kidnapped the minor daughter of the informant Lila Devi. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that no force was used against the victim, as is evident from the FIR

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10977 of 2020(5) dt.21-12-2021 2/2 itself. It is further submitted that a Panchayati was also held to pacify the matter.

The statement of the victim under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has been recorded, in which the age of the victim has been assessed as 14 years and she has stated that the petitioner and co-accused Sonu forcibly got her seated on a motor-cycle and they were also threatening to make her photographs viral on the whatsApp.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for bail is hereby rejected.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para 1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
