The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the respondent authorities to convene and hold a General Body Meeting for selection of Anganwadi Sevika at Centre No. 29 in Gram Panchayat Raj - Atrar, Block - Aurai, District - Muzaffarpur and appoint the petitioner as Anganwadi Sevika on the basis of marks obtained by her.

3. It is the contention of the petitioner that for

Patna High Court CWJC No.3148 of 2022(3) dt.30-04-2025 2/2 redressal of her grievance, the petitioner has preferred an Appeal Case No. 65 of 2021 on 24.09.2021 before the District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur, which is pending disposal for the several years, compelling the petitioner to approach before this Court.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 5-7, with a categorical assertion that the Appeal Case No. 65 of 2021 was duly considered by the District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur and came to be rejected on 30.04.2024, hence the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

5. Learned Advocate for the petitioner, at this juncture, submitted that since the appeal of the petitioner already came to be disposed, the petitioner may be accorded liberty to assail the same.

6. Considering the submissions advanced and the averments made in the counter affidavit, the writ petition stands disposed off with a liberty to the petitioner to assail the order passed by the District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur. (Harish Kumar, J) shivank/- U
