Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 387, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. According to FIR, all the named accused persons including the petitioner demanded ransom from the son of the informant and on non-fulfillment of demand, co-accused fired causing injury to the son of the informant. Two of the criminal associates were apprehended at the spot. One was Rakesh Kumar and another was this petitioner. The victim stated that Rakesh Kumar had caused firearm injury. Nothing was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 03.12.2018.

Considering the entire facts, let the petitioner, above

No.9822 of 2019(3) dt.30-04-2019 2/2 named, be released on bail after framing of the charges on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Barauni (Zero Mile) Police Station Case No. 541 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
