1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Khusrupur P.S. Case no.170 of 2023 registered under sections 302, 307, 341, 323, 325 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant, a police personnel states that he received information about the old mother and son of one Vinay Kumar having been assaulted. The old mother of Vinay Kumar died subsequently. It is further stated that daughter of Vinay Kumar namely Shivani Kumari may have hand in the occurrence.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown.

No.13800 of 2024(2) dt.12-03-2024 2/2 Referring to the order of the learned trial Court it is submitted that the name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of coaccused Shivani Kumari and one Shiv Shankar Kumar. The said Shiv Shankar Kumar has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 30.1.2024 passed in Cr.Misc. no.77353 of 2023. The petitioner is in custody since 10.5.2023 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

5. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the F.I.R., the name of the petitioner having transpired in course of investigation in the statement of coaccused Shivani Kumari and Shiv Shankar Kumar, Shiv Shankar Kumar having been enlarged on bail by the aforesaid order together with the petitioner having remained in custody since 10.5.2023 and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khusrupur P.S. Case no. 170 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.II, Patna City, District Patna.
