Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Asthawan P.S. Case No. 95 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR and there is allegation of snatching money by some miscreants and name of petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused and apart from that petitioner is accused in six other cases. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confessional statement there is nothing against him and he is in custody since 26.6.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8226 of 2020(2) dt.25-02-2020 2/2 Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, once the charge has been framed in this case, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
