The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 132 of 2015 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 504, 506, 364, 427, 380, 307, 302, 324 and 326 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence as also the fact that wife of the deceased has made a categorical statement in her statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure that the petitioner was one of the assailants of the deceased, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
