JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 30-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Rosera P.S. Case No. 118 of 2013 instituted for the offence under Section 224, 120B, 328/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation against this petitioner that he fled away from jail custody on 10.11.2013 by using rope after cutting rod.

It is also alleged that this petitioner and another prisoner, Kamal Mukhia distributed intoxicating 'Laddu' among the prisoners and run away from the jail From para-3 of the petition, it appears that several cases are pending against this petitioner.

Under such circumstances, looking into the criminal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9280 of 2017 (3) dt.30-03-2017 2/2 antecedent and nature of the offences, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and make efforts to conclude the same as early as possible. The petitioner may renew prayer bail after six months, if no substantive progress is made in the trial. (Sanjay Priya, J) Ravi/- U T
