The petitioner is accused in connection with Mehus P.S. Case No. 10 of 2016 registered under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25 of Antiquities and Art Treasurer Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, police got recorded the confessional statement of co-accused, Naushad and Subodh and also the petitioner showing his involvement, except that there is nothing against the petitioner having hand in the present case. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 30.11.2016.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1915 of 2017 (2) dt.20-01-2017 the case, the petitionerabove named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the J.M. Ist Class, Sheikhpura, in connection with Mehus P.S. Case No. 10 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
