JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 12-04-2016 Death of father of the petitioner happened in the year 2002. Merely because application of the petitioner was not acted upon and in the meantime the petitioner has got married, which is not denied, the reason for a direction for compassionate appointment has been lost because a married daughter as such is not entitled to compassionate appointment. Even otherwise, the death of the employee had happened more than 14 years ago. The object behind grant of compassionate appointment has been lost due to passage of time. No relief for compassionate appointment can be granted to the petitioner for the above reasons.

Writ is dismissed.
