The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is alleged to have obtained appointment as Clerk in the office of Settlement Officer on the basis of forged and fabricated document.
It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case, since after due verification by the authority concerned, he was appointed. Moreover, the petitioner has already been terminated from service and is ready to deposit the alleged amount i.e. Rs. 2,49,000/- (Two lacs forty nine thousand), which he received as emoluments during the tenure, in 5 (five) equal installments.

No.9805 of 2022(3) dt.22-08-2022 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above-named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Supaul / Successor Court in connection with Chhatapur P.S. Case No. 379 of 2021, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure with further condition that the petitioner shall deposit first installment at the time of furnishing bail-bond before the court below and the rest four installments shall be deposited within a period of one year from the date of furnishing bail-bond.
