JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-08-2018 The petitioner is said to have passed the 10+2 (Senior Secondary)examination held by the Central Board of Secondary Education in the year 2012. His only difficulty is that there is no surname mentioned in the certificate and other document, issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, has relied on certain orders passed by this Court dated 18.02.2016 in CWJC No. 1592 of 2016 ( Priyansh Vs. The Chairman, through the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and others) and 07.12.2017, passed in CWJC No.

Patna High Court CWJC No.14351 of 2018(2) dt.29-08-2018 2/2 17429 of 2017 (Shreya Vs. Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, through its Chairman), to submit that, in similar circumstance, the Court has directed the Central Board of Secondary Education, to allow the petitioner and opportunity to add his surname.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is disposed of with an observation that if the petitioner approaches the Regional Director, Central Board of Secondary Education, Regional Office, Patna along with a fresh representation, enclosing the orders passed by this Court in cases of Priyansh and Shreya (supra) and the present order, The Regional Director shall proceed to act accordingly in terms of the directions issued in the aforesaid two cases and take a decision within two months from the date of representation. This disposes of the application.
