The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No.141 of 2015 registered under Sections 363, 366A, 372 and 373 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 4 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act and 5/6 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.

It is contended that the victim has not supported the case of the prosecution in her statement recorded under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Be that as it may, regard being had to the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. In case the trial is not concluded within nine months

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55890 of 2015 (2) dt.14-12-2015 2/2 from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before the court below itself.
