The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 302, 201, 120B and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per prosecution case, the five named accused persons including the petitioner herein are stated to have assaulted the son of the informant leading to his death. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The allegation of assault by five named accused persons are not supported by the contents of the postmortem report wherein besides injuries and

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the general and omnibus allegation together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Chandradeep P.S. Case no. 40 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Jamui.
