The petitioner, Pawan Kumar, is in custody in Gopalganj P.S. Case No.384 of 2015 under Section 420, 467, 468, 471, 379 / 34 IPC.

From perusal of the FIR, it appears that the allegation is that this petitioner with other co-accused persons, namely, Raju Kumar had a fake bank account and thereby they cheated the public at general in the name of lottery of UCO Bank.

The learned A.P.P. submitted that the petitioner was arrested and he confessed before the police.

Admittedly, according to the FIR, the bank account for which a passbook was demanded on the ground that they had been lost is of Raju Kumar.

No.55758 of 2015 (2) dt.17-12-2015 2/2 In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, I direct that the above named petitioner, who is in custody since 12.09.2015, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/- (five thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj P.S.
