BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 19-05-2022 Heard learned counsel for respective parties. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) For payment of Ex-gratia, which is being paid to the successor of deceased police employee, who died during the course of the duty. (ii) For payment of death cum retirement gratuity Rs. 2.50 lac in place of Rs. 76176/- (iii) For grant of all consequential benefits including penal interest." On 07.03.2022, the following order was passed:-

Fifth respondent, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur is hereby directed to pass a speaking order as to whether petitioner is entitled to exgratia amount on account of her husband death on 07.02.2020 and also that she is entitled to difference of D.C.R.G.

amount as claimed in the representation dated 05.05.2019 (Anneuxre-7) or not?

Such a decision shall be taken and place on record before the next date of hearing.

Relist this matter on 04.04.2022.

Today, learned counsel for the State-respondent submitted that fifth respondent has passed a speaking order on 10.05.2022. The same has been placed on record by filing counter affidavit.
