JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-09-2017 Heard Sri Kumar Bimkramdeo Singh, learned counsel, assisted by Sri Sada Nand Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor as well as Sri Pramod Kumar Mallik, learned counsel who has appeared on behalf of the opposite party no. 2 /wife of the petitioner. The present petition was filed under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 with a prayer to quash an order dated 20.09.2014 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Purnia in Miscellaneous Case No. 14 of 2013 whereby learned Principal Judge has enhanced the maintenance amount from Rs. 250/- to Rs. 5000/-. Learned counsel for the petitioner tried to persuade the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44313 of 2014(3) dt.08-09-2017 2/2 court that excessively maintenance amount has been enhanced, however, considering the amount, which is only Rs. 5000/- per month , the court is of the opinion that the order impugned requires no interference.

The petition stands dismissed.
