The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakmeshi P.S. Case No.14 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304-B & 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioners is that they have killed the daughter of the informant for demand of dowry. 4.

The petitioners are the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased. They are in custody since 12.12.2023. The allegations against the petitioners are general and omnibus of killing the deceased.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Samastipur, in connection with Chakmeshi P.S. Case No.14 of 2016.
