Patna High Court CWJC No.2947 of 2022 dt.20-06-2022 2/2 petitioners are given a hearing by the Principal Secretary, Department of Food and Civil Supplies Corporation who shall pass an appropriate order, redressing their grievances.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has drawn the attention of this Court to the provisions contained in the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 as also an order of this Court dated 18.01.2019 passed in CWJC No. 1209 of 2019 and has submitted that notwithstanding the directions of this Court with respect to opening of the PDS shop in the villages, nothing concrete has been done in that regard.

Should the petitioners prefer an application before the Principal Secretary, Department of Food and Civil Supplies Corporation within a period of four weeks along with a copy of this order, they shall be heard by the concerned respondent, who shall look into all aspects of the matter and shall pass necessary sequel order within a further period of sixty days. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
