2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hisua P.S. Case No. 625 of 2022 registered on 19.10.2022 under Sections 366A, 34 of the I.P.C. which has been rejected vide order dated 09.11.2023 in Cr. Misc. No.70766/2023 with liberty that he may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.

3. Counsel further submits that petitioner is in custody since 25.09.2023 having no criminal case pending against him.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes to prayer for bail and submits that on earlier occasion, progress report has been called for.

5. Upon perusal of the progress report, it transpires that trial is likely to be concluded in a short period of 6 months,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13285 of 2024(3) dt.19-04-2024 2/2 as such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. As such, the regular bail application of the petitioner stands rejected at present.
