The petitioner seeks bail in Laukaha(Lalmaniya) P.S. Case No.363 of 2019 registered under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner was apprehended while carrying 87 liters of Nepali Soufi wine on his motorcycle. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this is the first case in which he has been made accused. Petitioner is in jail since 07.12.2019. Petitioner has already remained in jail for about three months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10907 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd A.D.J.-cumSpecial Judge(Excise), Madhubani in connection with Laukaha(Lalmaniya) P.S. Case No.363 of 2019(G.R. No.2327/2019).
