Petitioner is languishing in custody in connection with Narhat P.S. Case No. 158 of 2015 for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is husband of the deceased. Allegation is that he strangulated his wife to death within one and half years of marriage.

Submission of the petitioner is that the witnesses examined by police have stated that there was cordial relation between the husband and wife and frustrated by some tease the victim committed suicide. The petitioner is in custody since 22.11.2016. Considering the allegation, I am not inclined to

The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within nine months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.
