Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not received the payment of difference of salary on account of promotion to the post of Associate Professor for the period of 27.07.1998 to 31.05.2014. He further submits that similarly situated case has been disposed of by this Court vide order dated 27.06.2024 passed in C.W.J.C. No.4258 of 2022. 3.

Considering the above mentioned fact, this Court deems it

Patna High Court CWJC No.2832 of 2025(2) dt.24-02-2025 2/2 fit and proper to direct the University to pay the arrears of difference of salary on account of promotion in the higher pay scale within a period of six months and the University authorities is also directed to revise the pension of the petitioner on account of promotion.

The University is also directed to pay the revised pension, if not made, to the petitioner on account of promotion. 5.

It is made clear that if the payment is not made to the petitioner within the stipulated period, the respondent no.3 shall be personally held liable for non-compliance of this order. 6.

Accordingly, this application stands disposed of. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) shikha/- U
