The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letter No. 1751 dated 06.02.2018 issued by the concerned authority under the General Administration Department, Bihar, Patna by which application of the petitioner for being appointed in the capacity of Secretariat Assistant pursuant to this appointment by an office order dated 21.02.2014 bearing Memo No. 70 while retaining his seniority has been rejected.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has filed representations before the Principal Secretary, General

Patna High Court CWJC No.3458 of 2020 dt.09-02-2024 2/2 Administration Department, Government of Bihar, as contained in Annexure 8 series, but till date, no decision has been taken at his level.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that a direction may be given for disposal of the petitioner's representation within a fixed time frame.

5. In this view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed off directing the Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Bihar to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, as contained in annexure-8 series by passing a reasoned and speaking order within six months from the date of production of a copy of this order.

6. The petitioner is at liberty to add/supplement his representation about which he has already narrated in the present petition.
