The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 498A, 494 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the accused persons including the petitioner is of torture, assault and treating the informant with cruelty. It is further stated that the petitioner also married for a second time. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegation as levelled in the F.I.R. are false and concocted. He has been falsely implicated in the case. The
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20549 of 2021(2) dt.21-09-2021 2/2 petitioner who is the husband is in custody since 26.8.2019 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 2 years, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Salakhua P.S. Case no. 196 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Saharsa.
