The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 147,341,323,342,506,386 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that the accused persons cut the maize crop of the informant, on protest being made the accused persons gave life threatening on the point of rifle and took away the maize of 12-13 bighas land of the informant.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation has been levelled in the background of land dispute when appeal is pending between the parties. The accusation is omnibus and general.

No.2909 of 2016 (2) dt.19-01-2016 2/2 The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner by the learned court below in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Khagaria Mufassil P.S. Case No. 526 of 2014 pending in the court of learned CJM, Khagaria. This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
