JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-02-2020 The petitioner, who is in custody since 17.12.2019, seeks bail in connection with Amas P.S. Case No. 233 of 2019 dated 15.12.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

425 litres of locally brewed liquor is alleged to have been recovered from a Wagon-R vehicle from where one Pappu Kumar was arrested, who has named the petitioner.

Considering the aforestated facts as also that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11244 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 the petitioner does not have criminal antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Excise Judge, Gaya in connection with Amas P.S. Case No. 233 of 2019.
