The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420, 467 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and sections 65, 66(C) and 66(D) of the I.T. Act.

As per the prosecution case, on a raid being conducted, it transpired that the accused persons including the petitioner herein were involved in changing the IMEI numbers of mobile phones.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegation as levelled in the F.I.R. are false and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20653 of 2021(2) dt.23-09-2021 2/2 concocted. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The petitioner is in custody since 22.12.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. It is finally submitted that the case of the petitioner stands on a similar footing to a number of other coaccused, orders granting bail of whom have been brought on record as Annexure-3 series to this petition. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, grant of bail to the above mentioned co-accused and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Economic Offence P.S. Case no.10 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna.
