Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 379, 147 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 47, 57, 64 of the Excise Act.

Petitioner and some others are said to have snatched liquor and motorcycle from three persons but admittedly, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner who is languishing in jail custody since 20.8.2016.

Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Birpur (Supaul) in Birpur P.S. Case no. 179/2016. shahid (Hemant Kumar Srivastava,J) U T
