JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-08-2018 The present writ petition has been filed setting aside the order dated 31.07.2013 contained in Memo No. 393 issued by the District Magistrate, Lakhisarai whereby and whereunder the application for issuance of PDS licence in the name of the petitioner on compassionate ground has been rejected.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the rejection of the application for issuance of PDS licence is arbitrary and none has complained of any irregularity committed by him. In view of the death of the petitioner's father on 20.04.2011, the petitioner was entitled to grant of PDS licence on compassionate ground.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits on the basis of the statement made in para 5 of the counter affidavit that the grievance

Patna High Court CWJC No.20898 of 2014 dt.03-08-2018 of the petitioner has already been redressed and new licence bearing No. 01/2015 has been issued to the petitioner on compassionate ground. The petitioner is presently working as PDS dealer in Ward No. 5 under Brahiya Nagar Panchayat.

4. In the above view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of.
