1. Heard the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the Magadh University is present.

3. The petitioner, who is Associate Professor in J.N.L. College, Khagaul, Patna, has filed the present writ application claiming his salary for the period 09.08.2012 to 28.02.2013 while the petitioner was working as Associate Professor in P.C.V. College, Chapra under J.P. University, Chapra. The interuniversity transfer was done and the petitioner was transferred

Patna High Court CWJC No.5301 of 2019(4) dt.12-12-2023 2/2 from P.C.V. College to J.N.L. College Khagaul on 09.08.2012.

4. Learned counsel for the J.P. University produces a letter dated 11.12.2013 issued by Registrar of the University addressed to the petitioner by which a cheque of Rs. 4,04,975/-, towards the arrears of the salary of the petitioner, for the aforesaid period of 09.08.2012 to 28.02.2013 has been dispatched to the petitioner, vide cheque No. 677343, dated 09.12.2023.

5. In view of the aforesaid submission, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this writ application.

6. Accordingly, the writ application is disposed in the aforesaid terms.
