The petitioners are accused in connection with Excise Case No. 02 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act (Amendment), 2018.

The accusation is of recovery of 1550 pouches each containing 300 ml country made liquor from the Honda City Car, which was being driven by the petitioner no.1, Ranjeet Prasad and petitioner no. 2, Gopal Chouhan, was found sitting in the said car.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent and are in custody since

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioners above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Excise Judge, Gaya, in connection with Excise Case No. 02 of 2020.
