The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondents to pay the arrears of pension of his mother along with interest.

From the pleadings, it appears that earlier the petitioner moved this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 11948 of 2003 and there is no statement as to what has happened in C.W.J.C. No. 11948 of 2003. Petitioner claims to be one of the three sons of deceased employee, who died on 22.03.2004 after retirement on 04.01.1991.

Considering the aforesaid inordinate delay in raising claim, the Court is not inclined to grant any indulgence to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.9865 of 2019(4) dt.16-06-2020 2/2 petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as devoid of merit.
