Block Statistical Supervisor, Cheria, Bariarpur had filed written report disclosing therein that while he was discharging his official duty, appellant came and ask for favour for which, he asked for some time whereupon, it has been alleged that appellant caught hold his neck, torn the papers kept over table, abused and further threatened that either to do his favour or he will be murdered.

Considering the nature of the allegation in consonance with the period of detention since 28.02.2017, appellant Raushan Kumar Singh is directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.996 of 2017 (2) dt.09-05-2017 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Begusarai relating to Cheria Bariarpur P.S. case no. 25 of 2017 after setting aside the order dated 03.03.2017 passed by the learned lower court. Thus, the instant appeal is allowed.
