The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.50 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354/354D/354C/506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66E of IT Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is of sexual harassment to the informant. In the past also the informant had lodged a case with identical allegation against the petitioner. Submission is that the Sarpanch has stated before the police that since the petitioner got married with another lady false case has been lodged subsequently.
Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31039 of 2020(7) dt.06-04-2021 2/2 the informant cannot be disbelieved at this stage, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused. Petitioner is directed to surrender within four weeks and pray for regular bail. (Birendra Kumar, J) Mkr./- U T
