Petitioner seeks bail in connection with special Excise Case No. 48 of 2017 pertaining to CI - 136 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections- 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in this case due to local politics. Petitioner is a 70 years old lady having no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 21.02.2017.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21505 of 2017 (2) dt.15-05-2017 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Special Excise Case No. 48 of 2017 pertaining to C I - 136 of 2017.
