In the present writ petition, the petitioner is aggrieved by non-payment of interest at the rate of 12.5% on G.I.C. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled to interest at the rate of 12.5% in view of the judgment dated 31.08.2015 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 11219 of 2011, which was affirmed by the LPA Court in L.P.A. No. 1253 of 2016 vide order dated 11.01.2018.

Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure payment of interest in view of the judgment dated

Patna High Court CWJC No.4046 of 2020(2) dt.24-06-2020 2/2 31.08.2015 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 11219 of 2011, which was affirmed by the LPA Court in L.P.A. No. 1253 of 2016 vide order dated 11.01.2018, if not already paid, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
