JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 21-02-2019 This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the FIR of Chausa P.S. Case No. 23 of 2018 dated 31.01.2018 registered under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 7 and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

On perusal of the FIR, as contained in Annexure-1 to this writ petition, it would be manifest that the FIR is based on the video footage showing the petitioner realizing illegal money from the examinees of Intermediate and

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1822 of 2018 dt.21-02-2019 2/2 Matriculation.

The allegation is that the petitioner being the Center Superintendent-cum-incharge Principal of Raghunath Vidya Mandir +2 High School, Kalasan, Chausa, Madhepura had collected money from examinees in order to favour them in practical examination. The allegation made in the FIR clearly attracts ingredients of a cognizable offence. 4.

In that view of the matter, I see no merit in this writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Md. S/SKSuman.
